We also visit the Skerries which lie two miles (3 km) off Carmel Head on the north west corner of Anglesey. These windswept islands are inhabited by a large seal colony, teeming bird life, rabbits and a beautiful lighthouse which, for 270 years, was the home to many brave lighthouse keepers.
